BEDFORD, NH – Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bryant “Corky” Messner has announced a series of events statewide aimed at exploring the issues of greatest concern to New Hampshire voters.
“Granite State Conversations with Corky Messner” kicks off Monday, March 30, in Manchester, and will focus on the opioid crisis and homelessness, two challenges facing the Queen City. Joining Messner for the inaugural event will be Republican Victoria Sullivan, a former New Hampshire State Representative and Assistant Majority Leader who ran for Manchester Mayor and challenged Joyce Craig in 2019.
Other stops will soon be announced, as Messner plans to meet with voters in a variety of settings, from town halls to local business visits to roundtable events.
Since his campaign launch, Messner has already met with voters at more than 250 town halls, meet-and-greets, speaking engagements and other events. The new tour will build on the connections made with residents throughout New Hampshire.
“My goal is to continue to travel to all corners of the Granite State to share my views, but more importantly, to identify and discuss the issues most pressing to local residents,” says Messner. “This tour will help identify what concerns we have in common and the specific challenges each region and individual communities face.”
Messner points out that since announcing his challenge to U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, “I’ve discovered that many voters feel they’re not being represented in Washington, and what they’re most concerned about – the economy, national security, immigration, support for veterans, and other issues – has not been the priority of professional politicians like Jeanne Shaheen.”
Once details are finalized, a full schedule of events will be posted on the Messner campaign website, www.corkyforsenate.com.
